The Coalition to Guard the Indigenous Peoples Bill is an alliance of civil society organizations formed to fight for the birth of a Law that guarantees the recognition and protection of the rights of Indigenous Peoples in Indonesia. We were established in 2018 through a meeting at the Sahati Hotel, and since then have been committed to guarding the legislative process of the Indigenous Peoples Bill until it becomes a valid Law.

Upholding social, ecological, and legal justice for all Indigenous Peoples in Indonesia by making the state present as a protector and acknowledger of their identity, rights, and customary territories.
